Kowloon Commerce Centre — Sustainability Performance

Since achieving full occupancy, KCC has been benchmarking and tracking changes in energy consumption since 2018, implementing multiple energy-saving measures across the building's operations.

Key Achievements in 2025

• Energy Reduction — Achieved 1,400 MWh energy reduction in 2025 through the implementation of multiple energy-saving measures

• Carbon Emission Reduction — Reduced 530 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to the absorption capacity of approximately 20,000 trees

Significance

• Demonstrates a consistent downward trend in energy consumption since 2018 despite full building occupancy

• Proves that operational efficiency and occupant comfort can coexist with meaningful environmental impact

• Multiple energy-saving measures working collectively to deliver measurable, quantifiable results

• Carbon reduction equivalent to 20,000 trees highlights the tangible environmental contribution of KCC's sustainability initiatives

These results reinforce KCC's position as a leading sustainable smart green building in Hong Kong.
