Smartcity Santiago

Smartcity Santiago is a laboratory-city that will test cutting-edge technologies, allowing users to actively participate in energy management, integrating renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions, in order for them to be replicated on a larger scale.

  • With an investment of approximately US$10 million, Smartcity Santiago will allow experiencing the city of the future, incorporating intelligent technologies into everyday life including electric mobility, home automation, photovoltaic generation, telemetry consumption, automation of the electricity grid, intelligent street lighting (LED), remote monitoring, and free wifi, among others.
  • All the benefits of Smartcity Santiago will be monitored and registered from the Interactive Technology Center, which will be serving the community, universities, and authorities in general for academic and research purposes.
